In mail I went into the OPTIONS pull down menu and selected:
MAIL SETTINGS
This landed me in GENERAL SETTINGS. Under READING I selected and checked:
ENABLE READABILITY MODE
and
SAVE SETTINGS
On a mobile device, try to touch and hold over the link, highlighted or not.
A menu may appear offering you to 'paste & go
