Basic User- Recurring Unavailability & Vacation

Call Steward assumes that you are available 24/7.

You are then given the opportunity to participate in dispatch and inform them of when you are not available.


This allows dispatch to focus their energy on who will be most likely to go to work according to the policy of your local.

To adjust your Recurring Unavailability & Vacation
CLick on My Profile or Edit User Profile in the upper right corner

Then find the Availability & Vacation Tab


Recurring Unavailability

Fill out the form on the right for each day
Click Add Availability and repeat for each conflict.
Click on Save
Navigate away from the tab and return to verify the schedule.

To remove a conflict, click on the 'X' to delete, then save.


Vacation


Fill out the form on the right. Take careful note of the AM and PM for start and end times.
Scheduling happens down to the minute.  Returning from a vacation at 5pm for an anticipated 6pm load out is possible.

Returning from a 6pm vacation to a 6pm show call is not. Please make sure that you have appropriate buffers in place.


If your vacation changes or needs to be removed, please use the pencil to edit or the trashcan to delete. These actions are logged.  


If a vacation has already started, and needs to be edited or deleted. You will be locked out.  Please contact your dispatcher so that the vacation can be edited and your availability updated.
