Email Already Exists

Every email in Call Steward must be unique. Regardless of your user class; admin, power user, employer, steward.
Each email must also be deliverable and we validate for those characteristics. 

We an email for its uniqueness in the database and we validate externally for its's deliverability.

Steps to correct this error

  • check your spelling
  • do you have a comma instead of a period
  • do you have a '2' instead of an '@'
  • contact the owner of the email and verify the spelling
  • search your employees and employers for duplicates.
    You may be trying to create a duplicate account.
    Duplicate accounts are not allowed
  • To move forward, use a fictional address 
    Until another email can be provided.
  • File a support ticket at
