In some instances your dispatcher may offer you the ability to PASS on an offer of work in addittion to a DECLINE.
If you DECLINE a shift of 2/8/2024 you will not be dispatchable for that day, Midnight to Midnight.
This reminds a dispatcher(s) that you are not available. There MAY BE penalties associated with a decline so please check the local policy if there is a consequence for a decline.
If you PASS a shift, you remain available for that day. However, there is no gaurentee that a dispatcher will see the pass and make a second offer of work. In some instances, local policy will take a 2nd Pass for the same day and convert it into a decline. Please check your local dispatch policy for the details.
